I already have several times! We’d just hired his best mate whose wife is best friends with his partner. There were also things away from footy that make Adelaide more attractive for his life after footy. But I was told, one of the single hardest reasons to land a player with no previous ties to Adelaide, is trying to talk their significant others into coming here. That’s just a reality. We’ve obviously been able to persuade her to come.
