I'd be happy with any of FOS, Lalor, Draper or Jagga tbh. Pick 4 is a good position to be in
yeh agree but i would still prefer lalor or draper. definitely dont want to slide further back...
Eagles love Draper, I’m not sure he gets past their pick
they love him cos he less likely to go home than a vic

dont get too excited about peatling

Oh Man .....you need to look beneath the umbrella stats .....7 games as SUB ....really only got his Midfield Opportunity after Cogs and Josh Kelly got injured in approx R16

Having 20-30% TOG is going to knock your disposal averages around ....that, and playing Wing / HF

Just can't see Richmond overlooking Jagga Smith..they have bee all over him for too long now.
Jagga will be in the first two picks, outside the Father / Son .....who probably won't get bid on at #1

2 separate issues. Contracting ANB for 2 further years beyond his Melbourne deal is an uneccessary risk. Look at what Laird and Smith delivered this year. At least with those 2 there would have been competition for their signatures. ANB had nowhere else to go. We should just honour his Melbourne contract which takes him to 31 and extend year by year from there.
Have we announced the terms of the contract yet?

Draper is a chance for North at pick 2 apparently
In an ideal world that wouldn't necessarily be a bad outcome, Lalor or someone else and work on getting Draper home from day 1, of course showing we're very highly interested all along including now.

That’s been mentioned….he needs to sell the potential go home factor which started tonight to help scare off clubs, I agree we could just miss out here and Eagles have often recruited SA boys without hesitation and rarely do they come home,

Still we could always trade Curtin to Draper in a couple of years if suited both parties and then we still pick up another gun mid this year. Drapers breakaway speed and poise looks REALLY good though

Or do we have a sneaky pick swap in us

I'd rather keep Curtin as well, kids going to be a star.

Loving this assertive Wayne tonight and I gotta say some of your list quality comments in recent hours - comparing our list to Powers VERY shallow list and other related - is really top notch. Next level :)

They haven't learnt from the jhf saga?

I'm sure Draper has a more mature head on his shoulders though...
From what I heard, JHF & Port was going to happen no matter what, this is not North's fault as they took a risk on a potential brownlow quality player. Port had a snakey plan in place and it played out...

Just because Draper & JHF come from south doesn't mean it's the same situation.

I guess the question has to be asked, why is he sub 7 times?
