What do I need to suck up ?

We don’t even know if we’ve finished our off season appointments and you have no idea who our latest appointment even is to start with 😂

Just try and take some deep breaths and see how it plays out firstly then go your hardest

Maybe you can go get us some info on Davis and let us know what he’s like , be a better use of energy
lol, you responded to my post right? Assume then my response applies to you as well then.

You’re right, we’ve just announced our coaching structure and tomorrow we will make another announcement by adding a coaching director or senior assistant, oh wait 🤣

I know we’ve appointed a coaching director to look after the assistants to free up Nicks being Nicks. I know we haven’t appointed a senior assistant, many on here thought were getting both a senior assistant and coaching director which really would have beefed up our coaching department. I’ve even said I was happy for Davis to be an assistant and today I’ve said I’m happy for Davis to have that role as I believe he’s qualified to hold our assistants hand.

What I’m overwhelmed about is the underwhelming changes to our coaching department, are you happy if it currently stays as is? What’s the odds of it being bolstered further now?

This is basically what the club has confirmed today. We've hired a coaching director with the clear responsibilities of a senior assistant, so it's safe to assume that particular aspect of our coaching group has been finalized.

I guess we might hire another line coach with a new role that we create for them.

We still don't know whether we'll hire someone into the "Football Director" role or hire a new "Head of Football" - but any sort of coaching group oversight of Nicks has been ruled out

I'm underwhelmed overall by the appointment, but am interested to see how he goes.
I suppose a way to look at it is that if the Club has identified Davis as the guy, and only guy required (ie. no senior assistant as well) to help strengthen our coaching department, and even even he is incapable, well then clearly Nicks and some of these assistants are gone next year.

There are no more excuses for this coaching group next year.
