I liked the photos of the lads on holidays. They do seem a tight group. I realize that every club has these happy snaps of their chaps enjoying the post-season, but I would like to think that our lads are forging a solid group ethic thing, the sort of thing that keeps them tight as they develop into a super group of players who know their positions, the ways each other plays, making the team stronger than the sum of the individuals. Just dreaming I guess, but you gotta have faith.
The feedback I received re the 7 young ones that went away, that they were very close as a group and very very quality individuals .
Unfortunately Nankervis had to come home early due to loss of granparent

I missed the bolded

But yeah pure common sense says it stays lol
Adam Kelly said you can never close anything off in trade period as you might get a ridiculous offer, but that the very likely scenario is that we take pick 4 to the draft. Tom Morris probably just added a bit of mayo from that interview.

To be fair, I’d give it a 99% chance of not happening
Yeah, unless a proven gun midfielder suddenly decides they want to leave their club, we are taking pick 4 to the draft... & not Oliver!

Tom Morris has not been following very closely what our club officials have been saying.

He's not the smartest person in the media...

Lol, has he missed all our club officials saying we are taking #4 to the draft.

We don't have spots for another pick either.

What a numpty!

Maybe we're splitting it to get trade capital for Peatling so we keep all our 2025 picks. Would be disappointing but it is looking like we'll need a bit of capital next year.

he can be walked to the PSD with that size contract and no richmond wont pick him. we are not splitting F1 for him.

its gonna be F2 with something back hopefully

We are using a future 2nd on Peatling.

We have absolutely no reason to give up pick 4 & gun midfielder.

I feel we don't know the value of ANB, He is worth a pick 28 easy for what he will bring to our current list.

We are getting a 29 year old Rory Sloane that will help alot of these kids grow quicker and play better.

Pick 28 to speed track Soligo, Curtin, Rachele, Dowling & Pick 4..

Good trade

Future second would be fine, even without anything coming back. But we've been known to downgrade for gain if we don't see a large variance between a few players available at our pick. I think we still have 1 list spot as long as we move an extra player to rookie list. Depending on their draft order, they might look at 6 and something that could get Dodson appetising. Or like previous post, a future first with 6 to better replace one of the exits next year. Depends on the whether there's a few players we rate similarly on our order at 4 and just beyond.

Oh no,he was done by then

I think the draft is pretty even in terms of potential guns to about 8-9 though. I reckon we'd trade down if a too good to be true deal was offered. But the reported evenness likely makes that unlikely.
