Many posters have pointed out repeatedly why Nicks isn't competent with regard to game plan strategy, yet you continue to come up with excuses that make no sense. Nicks' poor coaching record speaks for itself!

You are correct that being incompetent means we will go nowhere, which is why so many were annoyed when AFC extended Nicks as we are going nowhere!

Our only hope is with Davis taking over the game plan strategy coming from a successful club, which is basically covering up Nicks isn't up to the job.

I'm not even a massive Nicks fan. The only difference is he's mostly done about what I expected during a rebuild. I also occasionally give him the benefit of the doubt when things don't go to plan - but as I've said, all the excuses that come with a rebuild end this year.

I think all the coaches would have a degree of input into the game plan but the final say is with Nicks not Davis.

The philosophical discussion has always been, do you develop a gameplan to suit the personnel at your disposal .....or a gameplan that'll win Grand Finals, and then recruit players for that gameplan

It was obvious early, we were eveloping a gameplan around contested footy ....in fact the Crows are in the top 3 contested footy sides in the AFL .....but we're poor on opposition transition ....and our rebound off HB, that people are critical about, was off the back of losing Milera, and Smith falling off the perch

That’s easy, I’ll just quote the key stake holders:

Silvers - gameplan, execution, development and manage assistant coaches
Davis - go into a game with a plan, stick to it and manage playing a game of AFL
ROO - coach the coach

That leaves Nicks to manage relationships and front the media, aka Hinkleylite.

Now given what Silvers, Davis and Roo have said, what do you think Davis’s role and therefore Nick’s role?

Our transition was shit even with Milera in the team at the beginning of the year, it’s because Nicks changed our gameplan and went defensive, it’s why you criticised Nicks coaching and said he went rogue bonkers. Do we need to bump your quotes again?

I watched all SAINT's games .....but I watch games differently to you, given my involvement with SuperCoach and AFL Fantasy ......we're all looking for bargains, and DEF players who turn balls over are not viewed favourably ....he's not a great decision maker

Ok let’s say Nicks creates the gameplan, I agree he would have final say. But given what Silvers, Davis and Roo have said, I won’t repeat them all, what are Nicks responsibilities?

I want to know when I’ve said my passion lies with Norwood and not the Crows, sure if Norwood came into the AFL they’d be my no 1 team but I’m not going to drop the Crows.

Being an inaugural member, being to all 3 grand finals, constant posting about the Club doesn’t make me a passionate Crows supporter because I’ve been a Norwood supporter since aged 5.
