I don't know why we're all still screwing around here with some of the painfully bad commentary voices we're stuck with these days. We have the technology, and the solution should be pretty obvious.

Have every commentator's mic run through a digital filter so they all sound like Dennis Cometti. Kelli Underwood? Roo? Brian Taylor? It doesn't matter, because they're all just Dennis, Dennis, Dennis. Although I guess the illusion would be shattered when you hear something like "the orange team" coming through in Dennis' voice.

Wait people actually think Underwood is a good commentator.

Her knowledge of the players and teams might be great, but she cant remember/think on the spot.
Add that to the fact that her voice is very offputting, and you've got a horror combination.

Its not that shes a woman, and shes not the only garbage commentator that still gets a gig.
