It's all them just 'thinking' what a club should/could do to create discussion & fill in the gaps when there's no footy.Would love Rowell but at the moment I give us 1% chance at best to get him
Is that his Opinion or has he heard something?

It's their thoughts only.
There's about 20 newsworthy player trades a year. How many hours a year does he need to fill on his show called Gettable. A lot of speculative discussion has the occur.I like Cal but this is ridiculous.

Read his comment :I did not see the Full Article/Interview where he said that.
Did he say it's his Thoughts/Opinions he is Giving?

And this is what he said about Rowell a few weeks ago :I did not see the Full Article/Interview where he said that.

Houstons skill sets are beyond most at Collingwood bar Nick. Not sure what twomey is on about. Perryman and Houston's skill sets are no where close to that of maynard's. Maynard is a lock down defender who can play on tall, medium and small fwds, very hard to find.
Would expect the club will look to lock him up sooner rather than later, they don't usually leave the big names hanging for a new contract.
Was referring to twomey suggesting Maynard skill set was similar to that of Houston's or perrymans.Houstons skill sets are beyond most at Collingwood bar Nick.
Sure, Maynard is a great defender.
There is absolutely no way we can facilitate a trade for rowell without trading someone else out first. Given his talent and age, suns could ask for 3 first rounders for him.
We are honestly better off targetting someone like LDU, where the cap is the only factor.
Yes north can match it, but they are better of not matching it as any LDU deal will trigger a band 1 compo. We’d have to facilitate a trade for LDU as well.
Even though he’s a free agent, he’s restricted, meaning North can match the deal and force a trade between both parties.

Dave, unless a journo says he’s actually heard something from someone, just assume that it’s their own opinion.I did not see the Full Article/Interview where he said that.

Did you watch North this trade and draft period. They're done with picks. They want players to rise up the ladder.Yes north can match it, but they are better of not matching it as any LDU deal will trigger a band 1 compo.
He just said they play a similar position. They do.Was referring to twomey suggesting Maynard skill set was similar to that of Houston's or perrymans.
Yes that is true, but remember north traded out their future first rounder, which in all likelihood will be a top 5 pick . They can recoup that pick if they let ldu walk, knowing full well no team will be able to give them that high a pick for them to access immediately in next years draft.Did you watch North this trade and draft period. They're done with picks. They want players to rise up the ladder.
Spoke to a P.A. supporter recently who said that Houston doesn’t defend.Houstons skill sets are beyond most at Collingwood bar Nick.

They always tried to free him up because of his kicking.
They can both play their roles - simples.
PS: must confess I had to take his word for it.
I think we’ve been into him for at least 18 monthsHe was pretty unequivocal about Rowell, saying that we "are" in for him. He's definitely heard something. Whether there's a lot of substance to it, who knows.
All well and good but they need players to actually want to come to them too.Did you watch North this trade and draft period. They're done with picks. They want players to rise up the ladder.
I read somewhere today by Jon Ralph the saints are going to go hard for him cause he’s only 29, yet when we were Houston’s choice he was too old cause he was 28
