Poor self righteous Poms. Have talked shit all series and now 2-0 down.

No credit after first test win… “they played all the cricket” and basically claimed it as a win. They’ve had the best of the conditions for batting both tests, won both toss, had all the calls go their way with umpires and reviews and then got away with the Duckett/Starc catch… to which they claimed “letter of the law” and then blow up after Bairstow’s brain fade. Letter of the Law fellas. The laws ironically written by the MCC members who made fools of themselves last night.

Embarrassing carry on by them and absolutely self righteous, sanctimonious crap by Broad.

They’ve carried on like flogs for 10 days of test cricket and find themselves 2-0. Suck a sooks.

The carrying on about Bairstow just masks what was simply incredibly lazy and amateurish batting from him. The bloke is a nugget and internally he should be sprayed for his immense stupidity.
That's a bit unfair on the millions of players in local cricket, where he would have been stumped without a moment's hesitation, and without anything but derision for his stupidity.

This comparison is nonsense and there are far more sensible stumpings out there to compare it to. De Grandhomme was out of his crease because he didn't know where the ball was and was starting to attempt a run before reconsidering, Bairstow was out of his crease because he assumed it was the end of the over. You might as well have just compared it to any other random stumping that didn't have any controversy behind it.

You know what happens when you assume

Stokes has now suggested that being 2-0 down gives England the advantage in trying to win 3 straight, because they are so good at "playing against the narrative".

The self delusion, arrogance and sense of entitlement of this English team is staggering. And they want to paint the Aussies as the bad guys lol

I’m convinced they see themselves as the good guys in some blockbuster superhero movie.

The narrative seemed to be that Bazball would knock us over easily so with us being two nil up and everything he's right if still deluded.

The funny thing about Bairstow's repeated gaffes over the first two Tests is that he's not even outperforming Carey with the bat.

Carey's partnerships so far: 118, 17, 18, 35, 42 and 3 = 233 runs
Carey's average: 32.3

Bairstow's partnerships so far: 121, 46, 14, 18, 16 = 215 runs
Bairstow's average: 31.0

His keeping wasn't as bad this match but it's abundantly clear Carey has owned him with the gloves both matches.

Foakes on the sidelines is a world class keeper, but even if Bairstow was to be picked purely as a batter, they want to squeeze...Crawley in. His whopping 29.8 average so far means the gamble is yet to pay off.

I wish Stokes played for anyone other than England. Some of the shit he’s pulled off and almost pulled off is amazing. It was especially impressive how he just threw on the light switch after the Bairstow dismissal and went from “take zero chances because I have to be here at the end” to full on berzerker mode. But alas, he plays for the Poms so **** that ginger bastard.

Smithy showing both hands wrapped around the ball to the crowd before throwing it up on the Robinson catch is good s**t housery.

Broad acting like a peanut every time he needed to leave his crease or the end of every over was childish. Do it once to get the crowd up then shut up and bat you pillock
Broad got more carried away with trolling rather than winning.

Agreed with pt 2. Even more so because Bairstow is a keeper
Pretty bloody generous comment there.

I'm rapt with the way he went out. Karma for the little fella not being given out caught the night before. Also for the fact the umpires seem to have only realised yesterday that only 2 shoulder high bouncers allowed and over head height is a wide. If they called them day 4 we'd have been defending 450.

Last night only served to strengthen my desire for a 5-0 whitewash. The assertion from the England players, coach and supporters that we're the bad guys is galling in the extreme. They're the ones with the big mouths, while we've simply got on with the business of winning the Ashes. I look forward to completing the job at Headingley.

I savoured every timeBroadwas hit by a bouncer.

Pity the racist cooker Slobbo did not last long enough to cop his lumps.

Shout out to the tipsy 70yr old eccentric virgins sniping the players in the long room. Thanks for the ammo to whitewash the series. Wan*ers.
Who knew so many Milwall fans were also MCC members.
