they could fly him out after the toss, but I guess he would remain in case of a concussion sub for the pace bowlers.

They won’t. Plus you always keep one for concussion reasons.

Correct selection but those 3 are not a mile better.About time Boland is given some cricket matches to play in even if T20.

I raise you the performances in the Ashes in England and say they are a bit better. Morris should be playing

Or just move it up the road to the only stadium in the country that is unaffected by rain. Gee cricket is dumb sometimes.

One holds 100k…and at least people can whinge about Melbourne and not Sydney for once lol

Boland isn't even in their same postcode TBH.

CA did the same with Morris and Inglis previously.
Leave them on the pine with no games under their belt.

Hope Boland is released.
We still want the best available players playing.

You understand how pitch preparation works right?

Move it, or there''s no match. Simples. Or don't play cricket and play tiddlywinks.

This rain will destroy any pitch preparation. Up the road no such problems.

Wont be a great day for Cricket Australia if both the test match and its looking very likely the Sydney Sixers v Melbourne Stars BBL game might get rained out too.

You can diss Perth all you like but it rarely rains in summers over there.

Stars will be happy be the only point they get all season

Assuming it's a relatively clear day Boxing Day, what sort of crowd would CA be happy with?
If both GWS fans show up, that'd add a couple to the numbers.

Actually a very lovely relaxing rainy afternoon in Melbourne town.
Perfect for scoffing down a roast.

No rain and no crowds!!!

Normally I associate the Boxing Day Test with at least one day of hot weather. This year the weather is extremely peculiar. Quite wet today and expecting some more rain tomorrow too.

The ground should drain well once the rain stops but I can see a rain interrupted Test absolutely. I think we will get in about 30 overs tomorrow.

No Scott Boland for Australia which will disappoint the VIC fans.
