I’d have thought players most deserving of hatred would be the ones who do it unprompted or not in direct retaliation to what they perceive as Australia themselves having a crack at them.
Ie. Douglas Jardine was a dick. Not just for bodyline but for being a dick about being called a bastard. ‘Which one of you bastards called this bastard a bastard.’
Siraj I agree is a dick he carries on quite a bit for no reason and holds a chip on his shoulder without any cause.
A lot of others just seem disliked because they play a lot like some of Australia’s favourite cricketers of days gone by.

To be fair Kohli hasn’t captained India in any format for 3 years and Siraj only played test cricket under him for two, sparingly (11 matches)
