What?
Marsh 148, first dig <== startlingly good, invaluable.
Head 39 and 77.

2 players out of 6 isn't good mate

that's why we had 2 totals under 300.

what are you even talking about.

Marsh and Head certainly were good - but overall out batting was woeful.

I didn't say 2 out of 6 was good.

You claimed "our 1-6 has been absolutely shocking at Headingly."
which is obviously not true.
Head #5, 39 and 77.
Marsh #6, brilliant 148.
Without those scores, we'd have lost all ready. Apologies if the facts stated (twice, now) have made your claim look ridiculous.

if you had said "our 1-4 have played poorly", I'd have agreed with you.

Selective statistics mate. That was 12 years ago. You've won 5 test matches since champ
Other statistics - England haven't won three tests in a row in the same series against Australia since 1981.

England have won two of their last 18 test matches against Australia.

England have won five tests against Australia in the last 10 years.

Since the 2005 Ashes, which broke a winning sequence of eight consecutive series for Australia, only 15 tests have been won by England. In the same time, Australia have won 27.

Australia have dominated the Ashes since 2011 in the grand scheme of things. We win in England. England claim series are void when they can't get close to Australia. It's pathetic no one is talking about what little simps England are against Australia

England in Australia next time round may be decent if there attacking batting comes off.

Especially if they can get Archer fit. A bowling attack with Archer + Wood is so much better than anything we faced in the first two tests.

Hopefully we get rid of Warner

Starc/Boland out for Neser/Hazelwood

Smith and Marnus had a mare

Usman shows he struggles against genuine pace
Starc at least has been taking wickets and provides pace

Boland needs to perform today

Hazelwood in the Frame for next test

Would like to see neser ...especially if its good overhead conditions

How about this stat. The average overall batting partnerships for the series thus far is 22 runs. Accordingly Australia should win by 30 runs....;)

Will be interesting to see think there will be some changes to our bowling line up come the next ashes

expect Jhye Morris Johnson to loom large
Morris will get fastracked in imo.

Bowls rapid and has some x factor.
Sounds like he has gone ahead of the unlucky Richardson
