What’s the follow in target? I imagine Australia want that, and force India to either hold on or have to get Australia to chase a mini target.
There was a good example of that in the NZ v Eng match yesterday. Harry Brook came in at 3/80ish and just wafted at a ball outside off stump first nut. Only succeeded it chopping it down onto his pegs. I also heard a stat that in his last match, Ben Duckett left 2 balls in a row... For the first time in his test career!!!!Good players 20 years ago are not even considering playing at that ball. 2 feet outside off stump. This is what 20/20 has done to the modern batsman. They simply feel they must play at it.
Nothing delivery and only a ball the batsman could get himself out. Poor batting by Kohli.

I think there's a good chance they'll be batting again by late arvoNeed to have india 7 down tonight preferably all out.
I’d be staggered if they get another 3 sessions in for the remainder of the test. Looking very ugly the next couple of days unfortunatelyNeed to have india 7 down tonight preferably all out.
That's what annoys me most about us having Marnus bowling pies to him gifting him a ton in Perth!

That may end up being a stroke of genius. Gift him a ton (when we were already beyond cooked in the game) and ensure he gets picked for the rest of the tour when clearly past it!
Yeah, chasing wide ones outside off has been around for as long as I’ve watched cricket, and unfortunately ill admit it’s much longer than 20 yearsA good number of players nicked off at that ball, even back then. Pressure and mental fatigue can do some horrible things to decision making, especially if someone is not in form.
India played that mini-session like they were cooked.
The art of leaving the ball seems to be lost on many modern batsmen.
No one ever dabbed at a wide one prior to T20?Yep. You can thank that garbage T20 cricket for that. India could do with Pujara right now...to just bat for time.
Not with the regularity they do now... NoNo one ever dabbed at a wide one prior to T20?

Not sure how many minutes have been lost due to rain in this match but it’s crazy that we’re off the field right now and perfect conditions are being wasted during a lunch break!
Pujara always worried me the most out of any of their batsmen when they toured here. The bloke just put a price on his wicket and set the whole innings up for them.
