Random question for the stats fanatics

When a player has 9 centuries and 17 50s (as Head now does) , are the 9 50s that they made in their centuries included in that total of 17 ? Or completely seperate?
Separate.

One thing I've noticed that the Indians NEVER do is shake the hand or pat on the back of a bloke who's just gone out after making a ton.

We do it most times, as do kiwis and even poms.

Perfect opportunity as they all ran past him there, zilch. Not even a nod
Not often would a team do it for 101

That is more your 170+ innings

Glad to see Smith ton, but this innings is a pretty clear vision of where he's at.

Things went as possibly as they possibly could for him today: great condition, partner thriving. And he could only just get there, under suffrage, and rarely looked fluid.

Ironically, he's probably the most humble and friendly of the Indians (Bumrah looks similar but he walked straight past Smith without any congrats there so who knows).

Still, he didn't have any arguments or tiffs with them today that we saw, no real second chances, just a bloody hard fought century, and zero congratulations as he walked off.

Very poor

Smith actually had little to do with it. Warner was showing Bancroft how to scuff up the ball, Smith walked past, chuckled and said, "I don't want to know". Probably never thought they'd actually do it. His mistake was no asking what they were doing, ie leadership, and was punished.

Still, sandpaper did nothing. No-where near as affective as England's Murray's Mints. A couple of cm's of sandpaper would wear out before it did much. Unfortunately, it was deliberate attempt at cheating and were punished as they should be. In England they got MBE's for cheating.

Fair enough.
I am not the biggest or knowledge cricket fan I'll admit, so I defer to your expertise.

Maybe I was a tad harsh on Smith
