I will go off my *in nut if we lose Zurhaar of all people
^this.

I will lose my sh*t entirely.

He is a required player. We would have the cap space to give him practically whatever he wants in terms of dollars, likely frontended.

if in this situation we cannot retain him, I'll be livid and honestly will want the people that cannot turn that situation into retaining him gone.

I also maintain in the situation where he does want to leave, as he is OOC we will get unders and as a club we cannot afford to take unders for a bloke we cant really afford to lose.

Did I hear Mark Stevens is now saying 31-69?

Can someone please get a young kid preferably with a limp to send Cam 50 cents from his pocket money.
It's time we upped the stakes, put this to bed if you prefer!
You might need to give him a comp webcam session or something mate.

We need to pull out all the stops. He our least shitmenish player in the last decade.

Yes he is our best currently. Or that close to it.
I doubt he's going as someone else said, not hearing this across the media.
I'd have to agree (re: media). The trade article from the AFL website mentions quite a few players but it doesn't mention Cam.

I love him but he's literally the only one we can afford to lose that has value. Would always keep him 100% but the second choice is Eddie Ford playing more and what should be a decent pick. He's clearly worth a pick in the mid first round. That's a KP player.
Respectfully disagree TFW. Ford looks a good young prospect, but to use Patch's language, he's untapped talent. Cam is one of only a couple players that we have that have proven that they can kick multiple bags at AFL level. He's also in that upper age bracket of the young guys which is crucial to us rising up the ladder over the next 3 years. He's also extremely marketable & exciting to watch (which is important given our clubs situation). It would be a disaster if we lost him.

ford is replacing ziebell
we will need both ford and cam next year onwards

Perhaps but the big difference is we were trying to flog off Brown and we want to keep Zurhaar (not to mention that Brown had a season from hell and Zurhaar is the clubs best forward).

Cam is out of contract we can’t force him to stay if he wants out, we therefore are going to have to accept what we are offered by the club he chooses to go to ala BBB…!

Zurhaar is a gun, want him to stay, should offer a decent contract, nothing extreme but it should be a good contract.

If he wants to go id play hardball for a top 10 pick. Alternative long shot try and get Hayden Young over.

Most players that get traded are OOC. They're talking how many first rounders Tim English would go to Freo for, he's OOC, it's no different. The problem with Brown is we told the football world weeks out from trade week that we didn't want him.

Brown was also a little older with some injury concerns.

Honestly a top 10 pick would be a bargain for Zurhaar - a proven match-winner entering his prime who had a broken ankle but that's about it.

Whilst a top 10 would be fair value do you really think we have the stones to play hardball

Sorry, to clarify I'm comparing English and Zurhaar and that neither are like the Brown trade.
