If we go to town on the ball-change then we become bad losers. But behind closed doors, quiet and constructive dialogue with the ICC wouldn't go a miss.

It's not "bad losing" to complain if cheating happened lmao.

Bad losing is complaining when you lose fair and square. That ball situation at minimum demands an investigation to determine if everything was legitimate.

Shows you how good Australia were around the turn of the century.
I think that period of glory shapes expectations for decades thereafter. Look at the Windies - an unbelievable all-conquering team for the same amount of time as 90s/00s Australia. They are a disparate collection of islands with small populations. But the shadow of that great team hung over for them for years and even now the level of expectation is higher than it should be.

Right, I'll sign off for tonight. Thanks to all of you for a gripping, emotional and draining six weeks. I've had some great conversations and arguments with you in that time. I don't know many cricket fans in my personal life, so it's great to get on here and speak to really passionate fans. You learn a lot and you laugh a lot. Peace be upon each and every one of you 👍

Cummins averaging 37 with the ball

Murphy averaging 25 and Cummins didn't trust him to play the 4th test 👍

Lab and Smith average 35, Carey 21 with the bat

5 poms average more than Smith and Lab

7 poms average better than Cummins with the ball including Joe Root...

Really been a crap series

What was Cummins average in the first 2 tests compared to the last 2?

What was Cummins average in the first 2 tests compared to the last 2?

His match by match figures were

1st Test: 4/122
2nd Test: 4/115
3rd Test: 7/168
4th Test: 1/129
5th Test: 2/145

So under 30 for the first three, 91 for the last two

Not so sure how they will go out here in 2.5 years.

Aussie pride.
Depends on the pitches I reckon.

If we roll out flat ones like everytime India come out the Bazball style might pay off.

If we juice up the decks like the South Africa one at the Gabba or the wicket Boland got 6fa at the G a few years back.

I reckon will be a similar result like past ashes in Australia.

Other thing is generally the first 2 tests are in Brisbane and Adelaide.

Gabba is a fortress and so is Adelaide with the pink ball.

So if we are up 2-0 again unlike this series we probably run away with it. As they won't have the home crowd roaring them back into the series and generally England once they get behind in Australia very rarely turn it around turns into a whitewash or 4-0.
