Agreed. I don't like it but it's unbecoming to get salty about the series result.

Every test match win is worth celebrating. Winning today and battling us to a series stalemate from the position that we were in at zero down and three down is a remarkable performance, especially given the occasion of one of their greatest ever players' retiring.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't stomach watching those flogs celebrating and switched off immediately. But saying that their celebrations are over the top is just being a bad loser in my opinion.
Is saying that they deserved to win the match being a bad loser?

Dat ball change, eh? Did we find out what year it was manufactured in? Big factor. Couldn't believe the difference.
Everyone know we easily score an extra 50 runs without that bullshit ball change.

Anyway, Ashes stay with us. It's a shame we've gotta wait four more years till the next decent contest between these two teams.

Do you see their smiles? Could they even pretend to smile in a LOSS?

I can’t stand it.

Look at Ussie. He’s not even angry about the loss. Have some shame already in “oh well we retained so we don’t care about the loss” mode
That doesn't bother me at all. You could say the same about England roaring for their consolation prize. Drawn series will always be weird but no matter what, having the urn at the end is THE prize.

Move on every We still hold the urn and the Bazball Poms need to come on our soil to win it. They’ve got no hope
Yeah in a way that pisses me off more, the feeble efforts they put in over here just get glanced over. We at least put up a fight when we tour there. Show some respect for the game.

Yeah, you can't really begrudge either team taking some slice of satisfaction out of this series while also mulling over a few what ifs. There wasn't a decisive boss this series. So be it.

Feels like this was the weakest Ashes England side we'll see for a while.
Not really.
Stokes is 33 and doesn’t bowl, knees stuffed
Broad is gone.
Anderson is most likely gone.
Root is 32.
Wood and Woakes probably won’t come to Australia.

The side that tours Australia will be the weakest IMO.
