Don't think the shot was that bad from Uzzie. It just didn't bounce off a short length. We've seen it's better to show intent.

In the situation of the game (which someone of his considerable experience SHOULD understand) it was. Wide and fairly short and could easily be left. They had 60 runs to defend. Make them ####ing bowl to you and wait for the slot balls on the stumps. Is not hard.

It would be really interesting too see from all the wickets fallen during the series, how many of them were due to bad/poor/lazy shots.. 50% more ?

A wise man (Test Player) told me very early in my Senior Career that it didn’t matter what level you played but 85% of the time a batsman got himself out - the remaining 15% being made up of a good ball, a bad umpiring decision or a piece of bad luck (run out)

It applies to every level of cricket
