Wonder what the after over explanation was.

"Well, India are really rich and powerful and cried like babies last game so we're going to do everything we can to make them happy".
Some projection going on with this.

Would have loved to see Kohli out, but don't do what everyone accuses the Indian supporters of doing, crying over technology overturning a decision.
There is no conspiracy, no deep state plan, it was a decision made for better or worse.

Smith had control which was he was able to flick the ball up. Wilson said it roll to the side so loss control but somehow still flick the ball up with his finger which is physically impossible.
If Smith had total control he wouldn't have needed to flick it up at all. He would have just caught it

He had partial control and was able to flick it up because he's a brilliant fielder

Commentary highlights some far (I'm paraphrasing):

"Everyone's talking about this series: at the airports, the taxi drivers..." (Langer - he could have added when he stops for a Squishy at the Kwik-E-Marts)

"Smith, of course, a very fair cricketer" (Brayshaw - yeah, you understand what he means, but you can imagine the opposition supporters' heads exploding at that call)

I normally agree with Ponting but I don't agree with him when he says you can't scoop the ball off the ground if it's hit the grass.

It's not easy to do it but you can do it so there was too much doubt to give it out, people disagreeing about the call equals doubt.

What are the garbage comments on here about the ball being allowed to make contact with the ground during a catch - that’s a bloody drop! Everyone on here has reacted the same way as the Indian fans last test but in a unique Bigfooty way
Surely we can’t be saying it can never touch the ground. If you’ve controlled it and your fingers are under the ball then it can touch as much grass as it likes.

What are we saying when the ball touches the grass between fingers that are clasped around it? Are we saying that’s not out because it touches a blade of grass?
