Have you tried flicking the ball up with your finger when it's not under the ball??? Physically impossible.
It was under the ball
The ball was also touching the grass which is possible because a cricket ball is wider than Smith's finger

Some projection going on with this.

Would have loved to see Kohli out, but don't do what everyone accuses the Indian supporters of doing, crying over technology overturning a decision.
There is no conspiracy, no deep state plan, it was a decision made for better or worse.

No projection whatsoever. India's domination of the governing body perverts the game's decision making. That's been obvious ever since they avoided players being punished for racism by threatening to abandon tours.

Kohli in this tour wasn't suspended for obviously suspendable conduct. If he was from Bangladesh?

Why do we think that all of this influence and pressure doesn't subconsciously impact umpires that are required to make decisions in that context? One game removed from a shitload of illegitimate pressure being levelled at umpires.

I'm not capable of replicating that influence.

Left frame out. Right frame not out.

His finger is not under the ball in the righg and appears to be touching the grass.
It’s still sitting on top of his finger in the right frame and that’s the closest it gets to the ground. The following frame it lifts straight back up

Yeah you and Joel Wilson agree, punter disagrees. I wonder who has the most credibility ?
Punter was also adamant during his career that you can't tell from replays so it should be up to the fielder's word.

He tried to get all international captains on board with this honour system when he was Aussie skipper but didn't get much support.

From wisden when they commented on the law changes after Green's catch of Gil 2 years ago:

While there is no further definition of the "ground", it is generally accepted that a catch can still stand even if the ball touches the grass – it’s the ground underneath the grass that is out of bounds.

Gill squares right up on and closes the face on his front foot defense. I'd be bowling at it over and over and over again, changing the pace and cut every time. Set a straight silly mid off with a midwicket and square leg in the ring for the straight one worked off his pads. Work him over going for the miscue.

It's allowed to touch as long as the fingers are under. That rule changed last year. Under that rule that is out.
Exactly which is what I was cryptically saying. I love all these experts who know more than taufel.
