That’s true though I think that’s his only real default ‘extra tactic’ anyway, to be fair. It's a cultural thing.

Australia is egalitarian and whilst there is seniority, all 11 players are basically peers out on the field. Just like non cricket scenarios with the way we can speak to bosses at work, etc.

India is very hierarchical, and a 19 year old behaving like he belongs on the same field as a peer is probably insulting enough, let alone getting lippy.
