If true - not good.
It goes back to what I said last week, all cricket nations (including India and Australia) have good supporters and bad supporters.
In afl footy season we see this the most. Week in and out. People become blinded ignoring their own fallacies and focussing on the others, even when behaviours such as ducking, diving for frees, or more degenerate behaviour, are performed by their own team and supporters.
compared to the abuse Indian fans have dished out, this is very tame
Yes indeed. But abuse isn’t a pissing contest. If what the Indian supporters have said is say 10 on a scale of tame to worst (10 = worst), and asking for visas is 2, it doesn’t mean we Aussies get to seek other forms of banter with 8 points for purchase at the banter store.
It becomes tit for tat, they said it first so we can fight back. And the only way to resolve it once and for all is to backtrack through the decades of historical abuse and find out exactly who started it.
Tame when Indian fans issuing death threats to Konstas.
I just spewed
Or, after the WC final in 2023, when Indians went onto Head's Instagram threatening to rape his wife.
I just spewed
