It's hard when you are young to underrstand but once you are out of the team there are no guarantees you get back in quickly.

Nah. I think he'll learn a lot from Melbourne & Sydney, post-series will be a good chance for him to reflect and then hopefully adapt for Sri Lanka. I'd take him to see if he has the ability to adapt, otherwise shield level it is.

Honestly I'd rather have him develop at Test level, and play some more regular innings similar to how Warner approached it. He's as good as anyone at Shield level so we may as well back him in.

This is substantially because Konstas has rattled them. That includes all of the extras and the misfield.

Konstas has played pretty differently at shield and not this reckless.

I just feel the coaching staff need to have a word to get him to temper the aggression a bit. Feel like it’s a bit of a rush of blood more than anything.

Without Bumrah, India are a lot less threatening and can play much more on the bad balls, rather than trying to create scoring opportunities through aggression.

Still - orders might have been by coaching staff for Konstas to play aggressively much like India did, as the wicket is a bit of a minefield.

People here are pretty brutal on the kid. He’s again put good early pressure on and scored a good chunk of the tally. Got out going too hard, but he will learn. He plays Shield far more conservatively.

It's fine to be aggressive, but slogging every ball like it's a T20 is another thing entirely.
