Why?
_Given a choice I actually prefer Footy Park. It has good parking and I can get home (in the northern suburbs) fairly easily. The Crows are building a new facility that we can have a few Ales in after and I like the idea that I am supporting my club financially with a pint or two (or four), rather than going to a pub/club with blaring music and looking out of place in my Crows shirt after the game.

The atmosphere at The Shed is great already, and the new one will attract more people and be even better. I would however love to see Footy Park revamped, with steeper seating and maybe a second tier all the way around. Pie in the sky stuff, but would make it a great place.

Do you find AAMI Stadium’s new LED signage an annoyance or distraction?

Looks great at night. Not sure how effective it is in day time.

Is there too much advertising present at AAMI Stadium games?

Is the Entertainment at AAMI Stadium AFL games adequate?

The entertainment is the Footy. The Bar areas are adequete, and with the new Shed we can support our club even further.

I would suggest the screens be better utilised. At the G and Docklands they show player stats and replays not seen on TV. This would be a good idea at FP also. Instead of just taking the TV broadcasters feed and actual match day broadcast on big screen would furhter enhance the experience of going.


How would you describe the overall atmosphere at AAMI Stadium games?
It is good, and the 19th Man has added an element of being able to cheer for our club without some around us frowning at you. Although it does still happen on occassion. But that will become less of an issue in time. I mainly go to watch my club play footy so the Crowd noise to me plays second fiddle.

Is live television coverage an incentive to stay home?

Should AAMI Stadium games be broadcast live in SA?
[ ] yes
[X] no

However it is a commercial reality that it will happen, the clubs allow it to happen by accepting the carrot that is TV rights money. I do hope that AFL does not become a TV majority sport like NRL has, with most of the stands empty.

Have not missed any games at FP for reasons associated with the venue. Only missed games because of external reasons such as illness, away, etc.
