Well done crows

Which free did he stage or didnt deserve?
what, are you asking for a chronology of Joel's free kicks? I can honestly say I did not see one genuinely deserved free kick paid to him. It's poor form on his part, but evidently it's acceptable behaviour so good luck to him. May win him plenty of flog commentator love but won't win him a flag

I think if you watch the game again you’d be hard pressed to say we didn’t turn up. Our skills were f***en pathetic but the effort was ok.
There’s not a single statistical line relevant to effort, that indicates we didn’t give it our best. We just kept f***ing dropping marks, and kicking and hand balling the thing straight to Adelaide.

The Crows were in blistering form and seemed to nail literally every kick or disposal they needed to, we didn’t.

Yep, Geelong looked okay when the ball was contested but the Crows just took that game away from them.

Notwithstanding tonight (and admittedly how much I enjoyed it) but the Cats had a great year and did a lot better than a lot of people expected. Enjoy the off season.

I take your point but there was a fair bit of difference in the pressure and intensity of both sides and the result wasn't really i doubt from about 10 minutes in.
Geelong stuck at it but there was never any sense the game would be close which is what I'm complaining about really. But I do take your point that they had a crack. Selwood was good.

Absolutely.

We’ve obviously got things to work on but genuinely, the top of the list needs to be basic skills. Too often we get smashed in these games where we are against skill full opponents, more or less match them close in, but couldn’t hit a barn door with a fistful of rice when getting rid of it.

Won 3 already. Didnt duck. Shrugged the tackle played on. The only ducking i saw was Sloane that went against Selwood despite not getting him high

Look that’s a fair point. We got it back to I think 26 or 27, and made another centre clearance and someone absolutely butchered it going forward. Turnover = Crows goal, game more or less over. Selwood had a real go but like everyone his skills were all over the place.
