Rubbish. It's been going on for about 15 years. Too high is the other one. The umpire blows the whistle for a ball up in general play. The pack breaks up and about 3 players will release their headlocks on whoever it is they have on the ground. No free.

regardless of who you support , we all agree the umpiring across the board is diabolical. It is a disgrace. ANZAC day essendon on/Collingwood article in The AGE says umpires have no case to answer . Decisions on ANZAC day were correct and then the said quote was from the umpire Simon Ryan who made the shyte calls.Give me a spell.

Nic wasn’t sticking his knee out deliberately putting himself in danger trying to exploit rules.

Don't get me wrong, umpiring has been atrocious and umpires have missed calls from both sides and cats have had a better rub. But it is not the reason why we are losing. We are getting monstered around the ground and our sub 100 game players aren't firing. Gaff hasn't slotted in smoothly and is turning it over. We are missing Rioli but Geelong can only play whose put infront of them, and they are disposing of us comfortably.

Would like a 2006 repeat though.

Not if that person ended up that way trying to deliberately exploit the system. Would be a completely different scenario if it happened outside of that of course.

Same reason I don’t give a shit about people who die taking selfies in dangerous locations. Natural selection at work.
