I just devoured all 35 pages of Richmond, Essendon and Carlton fans joining forces and melting down together about corrupt umpires helping Collingwood. I totally get now what all the kids mean when they say things “give me life”. This thread just gave me life!!

It’s nice to see you all working together. I haven’t seen this kind of collective hatred directed our way since 2010. I’ve missed it so much.

The Footy show just highlighted how Josh Thomas was robbed of a free kick right in front of goal for contact below the knees. Just like Anzac Day when Essendon's last two goals were gifted due to incorrect umpiring decisions, is it possible that mistakes might go both ways? Shock, horror!

The only reason you highlight that free is because it was the ONLY Carlton free kick ALL GAME. It was 24-8 for crying out loud 24-8!

Doesn't that show how haywire the bloody AFL is going with its adjudication and trigger happy umpires over killing the job and wrecking the game.

Still the 50's x 2 were ridiculous as most 50's are because they are not used for what they were intended .

Our game is in trouble not because of the good parts of it, but because ambiguity in rules and the continued confusion is putting people off the game.

Unfortunately majority of the so called neutrals in this thread showed their true colours when there was barely a mention of the Josh Thomas missed free.

A clever troll would've at least have made an effort to appear as you say "Neutral" but couldn't see past their hatred.

Umpires weren’t the reason Collingwood kicked the last 5 goals of the game. They weren’t the reason Collingwood had 2 dozen inside 50 entries in the last to Carlton’s half a dozen.

They sure weren’t the reason Carlton started chipping around, to take time off the clock, when they got 10 points up with 7-8 minutes left to play.

The better team won, it’s pretty simple.
