Are you having a laugh? It absolutely did favour your team. It favoured you’re team two-fold
YOu mean when Dusty threw a tantrum and pushed Boak to the ground after getting called for holding the ball and then Josh Caddy refused to move out the protected area after the umpire warned him how dare they not pay a 50.

yes Port had 6 players who are starting 22 for us out for 836 game experience... this comprises of:-
Rozee - 32, Marshall - 28, Burton - 67, Ebo - 254, Motlop -177, Hoff - 278 (and Mayes -105 & Bonners - 47 who are not starting 22 but who have played this year)

what i find interesting is that Richmond with 6 premiership players (& AA) out.... couldn't get their replacements to play better (and give them an advantage compared to Ports 6 replacements who have played 164 games total - this is from:-
Georgiadies 5 games, Lienart 16 games, Farrell 20 games, Woodcock 2 games, Ladhams 10 games & Sutcliffe 111 games
Your post is laughable, how have you firstly included Westhoff when he could have played but was dropped? Cotchin, Prestia, Edwards, Houli, Nankervis and Astbury.
That’s the equivalent of you not having Boak, Wines, Gray, Jonas, Lycett and say Hartlett, and even then I’m being kind. You smashed us in the middle no doubt but when you have your whole starting midfield watching on TV it’s going to have an impact. For us to still be leading at 3/4 time coming off a 4 day break and travelling on the day was a huge effort, it’s only natural you were eventually going to break us in the last. It’s was a great win for you blokes, you played very well and your pressure was great but if you think the players we have out aren’t going to help us exponentially the next time we meet you are delusional.

Cotchin dropped, or rested?
Maybe Ken chose to rest our older brigade because we had an in form replacement, and wanted to attack your weakness in ruck.
Or maybe we are all just rattling each others chains?
Cotchin was managed from a hamstring injury his form has been good, we didn't drop the captain, a 6 day break and he plays.

I asked in the thread earlier was Westhoff chopped and the response from PA fans was clear hes been poor for a while and dropped accordingly.

So those 6 players are your best 6 players are they?
And your best 6 replacements are mostly rookie list players?
In your theoretical discussion, do we get Burton, Rozee, Ebert, Motlop, Marshall and Westhoff (dropped to play 2 rucks) back?
Is Port Adelaide to blame that those 6 are far better ins than yours?
Does Port Adel's third game in 9 days stack up ok against Richmond's third game in 10?

Richmond will be back harder but if you think that we aren't at your level after yesterday is delusional.

I didn’t catch that during the game. That’s a very bad look and surely the afl has to look at that? That’s not in the contest and there’s no attempt to tackle or stop Jonas run.

just hits him in the nuts.

that’s way worse than striking a guy in the stomach.

Maybe he thought he was back in the changrooms, going for a 'firm' fondle...

Too bad your depth wasn't good enough last night, hey

All of a sudden Port have our measure according to Port fans?
As has been said by a few of our supporters, bringing back Nankervis Cotchin, Prestia and Edwards might just make a slight difference to centre clearances? Surely even Port fans can see they won't have the dominance they held last night? Cotchin in particular brings that tackling intensity required in the guts.
And that's not a knock on Port, they were absolutely fantastic last night and could/should have won by more. But, it's a marathon, not a sprint. Hardwick and co will go to work on what happened to cause the result last night and there will be changes made to the way Richmond plays Port next time, no doubt. He's shown that over the last three years in particular where we have not generally lost twice to the same team in a season. And if all finals are played in Qld, there goes the AO advantage?
But well done Port, played fantastic footy and it's up to them to keep that intensity going now, particularly come finals time. Enjoyed the game immensely, except for the Tigers losing👎, but both sides played a very watchable brand of footy. Hopefully Longmire was watching😂

No, I already said that the Dusty + Caddy 50 was there

Do we also get to bring back Rozee, Burton, Ebert, Marshall and Motlop in this scenario, or is it only Richmond who get to be full strength?

Was the dumbest thing I’ve seen for a long time, effectively ended the contest.
Dusty did it already earlier in the season, as did Riewoldt, now Caddy too.

Senior players cracking tantrums on the field..it's part of what raises Cotchin above these guys as a leader, he's not perfect but he has a level of professionalism and maturity above those listed above.

Cotchin, Edwards, Houli, Prestia would be in our top 8 players no doubt. Their replacements while all promising are still very raw and all have under 30 games experience. The difference between the players you have as replacements compared to who you have out is nowhere near as great. You are talking about a Brownlow 2 time winning premiership captain in Cotchin, all Australians in Houli and Edwards, best and fairest winner in a premiership year in Prestia and 2 time premiership winning ruckman and key defender in Nankervis and Astbury. To even compare them to any of your outs is delusional.
I did say I thought Ports win was a great one and their pressure was elite however I’d still be confident we’d have your measure if we meet again with a full contingent.

Do we also get to bring back Rozee, Burton, Ebert, Marshall and Motlop in this scenario, or is it only Richmond who get to be full strength?
Yes they will, I agree but I was more trying to say that we won't get slaughtered out of the centre with the players I mentioned coming back, which is where we lost the game in my opinion.

Of course we know both sides need to leave players out to fit the returning players back in.
