Reckon the dees will give 3 figures a nudge in regard to the margin.

WC played like their lives depended on it in the derby (the resulting carnage a testimonial to this ) .

With their outs and the inevitable let down of not prevailing in their annual gf game , things could get real ugly
"never seen a team try so hard in a game that means only 4 points like all others"...
Hardly surprising given your a freo fan

Given this is in Perth we have to fly to Adelaide in probably 5 days I cant see them going all out. IF we can get a decent lead say 6 or 7 goals, I think they'll ease off a little late in the third.

I'm still expecting WC to be competitive though.

I think that's a concern for the fitness coaches and training. Players won't go any less hard. I can't see the players ease off in the 3rd quarter anyway. It does seem like a tough draw travel wise for Melbourne though.

Darling has been pretty ordinary since Kennedy retired. He could have gone the other way and improved given the extra chances/responsibility. But he's struggling to even provide a contest.

Agree. Now that Kennedy has gone Darling gets the best key defender and his game has fallen away.

Loving the positive fight of this young side. "Young hearts run free" vibe this season. Demons just make us pay a bit more on the rebound, can edge us in third gear.

If Gaff was a little more damaging by foot (and had won a flag) he could've retired with one of our best ever resumes. Never been a bullocking matchwinner that leads from the front, but already been at the club longer than Cousins and Priddis, very durable, reinvents himself every few seasons. But the outside everready run mixed with indifferent skills, holds him back from more significant recognition.

Nice to have Yeo back out there, cheering given the absences. Our flag winning style quality-over-quantity by foot seems vanquished, very much a new era. If we can manage an honourable loss here Simmo might get in Trev's ear about a contract extension.
