We have got away with a few ourselves. It does appear the crackdown is over though
Very frustrating.

The weeks where the rule was being umpires correctly were some of the most watchable games I've seen in years. Both for ours and just as a neutral in other games.

They really do need to get their shit together in AFL house.

Geelong playing very well, pressure has been very good.

Very frustrating when the Hawks continually lay near perfect tackles to have none of them rewarded with holding the ball. What happened to the AFL tightening the interpretation?

Cats have blatantly dropped the ball near on 10 times so far.

Maddening.
So perfect tackle should equal free?

Missing Sicily obviously, but I think Dear out
hurts quite a bit too.

And Ginnivan. Young teams often dont bat deep. If Dear was fit would Lewis have had another run at Box Hill?

We are getting plenty of the ball, but not thinking about our delivery.

Most of the team probably playing their 1st game at the peanut ground too. Or first game in many, many years.

Well given where they are at they have nothing to lose in the second half, can just go for it.

Ah gotta love the childish disingenuity of purposely misunderstanding what someone says.

You're not actually going to try to argue that Rohan being caught dead to rights, not once, but twice, in the space of 2 seconds wasn't a free?

Wouldn't have thought so.

Don't know why but I still think the Hawks can get up here. Just need a good ten minutes to pour on some scoreboard pressure because they can score in a hurry when they want to.

I really enjoy how Geelong leave a player/s forward of a contest/stoppage. Other sides fall into the trap of thinking it’s cheap/soft and every player MUST get to the contest, and then they get the clearance and kick to opposition defenders. Cameron, Miers, Close, Rohan etc all hold position really well forwards of the ball and will wait for the ball, and then if it doesn’t come their way THEN they work hard back defending.

Cats are by no means the best team in the comp, but they are a super solid benchmark, you can’t compete with them without being absolutely 100% on. Young teams in form often walk away with tails between legs against Geelong.

They are very well organised and team and loose teams particularly get found out.

They are an acid test team.

Bulldogs another one of those team particularly devastating against slow starting team.
