Melbourne's form has been pretty good the last couple weeks. I don't like it when Essendon go in favourites and reckon Melbourne might win this one in a close game by 10.

Wosh saints are an option in the poll.

Don't know about this one. If Gawn is out, we should have the upper hand in the midfield but dominating the midfield and territory means nothing when our efficiency inside 50 is terrible. Beat Carlton, Gold Coast and Geelong in the territory battle for no net gain. In fact, the most inefficient game inside 50 for any side this year was Essendon vs Geelong and it was looking to head that way at QT vs Collingwood too.

If we kick to Lever and May all day, then Melbourne win. If we're efficient inside 50, then I think we can win. Either way, a genuine 50-50 it'll be close.

Max is naturally a huge loss but I imagine Fullarton (who has not set the world on fire) will come in to cover some of his loss as using Petty and JVR as support options. Zac Merrett looks in Brownlow form and will need to curtail his influence.

I expect Goodwin to make this a grind and hope that our defence will prevail but otherwise the Bombers look to have the bases covered.

Essendon need to learn to back up a good performance with another good performance, which they are going to need to win this game as anything less won't do. They haven't done this for a long time.

Melbourne have well and truly been sneaking under the radar in recent weeks. I thought their form was excellent at the Gabba a couple of weeks ago (and unlucky to lose) & they disposed of West Coast with considerable ease.

Both teams, even minus Gawn and Petracca, should be an even $1.85 each heading into this. I don't agree with the Bombers odds.

Melbourne win this and they will only be a couple of premiership points out of the top 4. Big game for both.

Harrison Petty to take over ruck duties😅😅. Is Goodwin tanking?

Pitty we cannot loan Brodie Grundy for the week.

If Essendon cannot beat us without Gawn and Petracca just proves they are bigger frauds than most people think they are

we have parish among others out, so your saying because melbourne have 1 more player out they are no good and if essendon dont win they are crap, rightio
