Goldsack did his acl in the last preseason game of 2018 and played in the entire final series including the grand final that same year and did a good job. That was miraculous.Can't help but think that Collingwood are putting McStay's career in jeopardy by rushing him back so early. I mean he literally did an acl within days of (supposedly) recovering from a bad medial sustained in the gws prelim.
I wish him well (and would be posting this regardless of Collingwood's opponent this week) but to have a rupture in December and be back playing at AFL level in July is absolute madness. I know the majority of posters here will think I'm a moron but it honestly reminds me of the negligence Melbourne displayed with Schwarz's knee injuries back in the mid 90s.
Just put him on ice til the pre season ffs and give him the best chance to avoid re-injury.
