Should pump St Kilda.
GWS very achievable, 4 wins would be a solid outcome.

Wouldn't take St.Kilda too lightly. Apart from last week when they got reamed by Carlton, they had been competitive, losing a couple of games by less than a kick.

Having said that though, we owe them one from last year.

Chloe Scheer was pretty quiet in the first couple of games, but if she can get a bit fitter in the offseason, we are going to be a much better team. Her talent puts her a level above most other players out there.

I agree on all this, I actually saw her at the shops near my in laws over Christmas (helped recognise her with the fact she had her Cats training shorts on) and I genuinely thought at the time.... Geeze I look fitter than her.
But she's build really really well into it, is absolute class

Getting these feels watching the West Coast - Brisbane match....

The Simpsons GIF

Brisbane are up 46 to zip at half time. West Coast with only 2 inside 50 entries, to Brisbane's 29.

Just a lazy 74 point win to Brisbane - 15.8.98 to 4.0.24, eclipsing the previous highest score of 13.9.87 kicked by Carlton last year, and follows up their 69 point pantsing of the Suns last week.

Just had a look at the ladder, and in particular our points against. We've currently conceded the 6th least points for the season behind the top 5 teams (6th placed Collingwood have conceded 7 more points than we have) at an average of 28.75 points a game against. We had the 3rd worst defence last season conceding an average of 45.33 points a game, so we're conceding on average just on 3 goals a game less than we did 12 months ago.

Not only that, but we scored on average 18.22 points a game last year. We've increased that to 24.75 points a game this year, and have scored 38 points more than we did last year despite currently having played one less game.

Not good for our next opponent

ST KILDA has confirmed an ACL injury to vice-captain Rhiannon Watt after landing awkwardly in a ruck contest in the first quarter of the side’s win over Gold Coast on Sunday.

Her side enjoyed the first goal of the game through Nicola Xenos early, and Watt fell to the ground at the preceding centre stoppage, requiring assistance from trainers to exit the field.

Ruck duties were then shared by Kate Shierlaw, Caitlin Greiser and Jacqui Vogt for the remainder of the game, with Leah Cutting still on the sidelines.
