Booked my flights last night, Freq Flyer one way, didn;t work out to be too expensive. Staying with my sister who lives in Brisbane who is currently my favourite sister

Took an age to get my call answered but I have my two tickets. They had put it through and as an afterthought asked for a barcode number.

Could have got 2nd tier front row which is primo viewing but I wanted somewhere behind the goals. Got front row lower level so I am happy.

They do go on sale today for regular members except for some ground memberships or something.

I just spoke to the club & they said we are definitely able to purchase the tickets today (the Ticketek agency I went to near home refused to sell me a ticket), the hard part is getting through to Ticketek. Lucky I am on annual leave at the moment & have a chance to spend some time hanging on the phone.

Yeah i spoke to the club and they confirned this to me as well.

Cant belive how long I waited on hold for only to be told that i couldnt get them, and now i cant even get throught o them ....bloody ticketek

I ve sent the Mrs down to an agency wil see how she goes!

Should post this in here as my thread title is a little misleading... (is that ok mods?)

So here's the deal...

I live in Kangaroo Point which is less than 1km walk (in a straight line - if you've had too much to drink) to the Gabba. My offer, a nights accommodation free. What I need, 3 member barcodes TODAY.

I'm a fully paid up member but my friends are not. I don't want to book a single ticket and go by myself.

I suggest we have some sort of signal to alert others we are BF regulars. I pass all these people behind the stands and wonder how many are BF posters.

Its times like these you wonder what kind of people man the phones at Ticketek. Can they please train these people appropriately - all they do is sell tickets to events, you'd think they'd know most of the more popular grounds and venues pretty well.

I'm in Section 7... Guaranteed im nowhere near my blue boys but - just in case...
