Pumped that Webster got picked. Anyone who follows domestic cricket should love him, just gets it done and seems very likeable. Never really rated his bowling but he continually picks up wickets.

Well deserved for Webster. Good form at the right time. Hardie probably the better long term fit but his form has been well down this season. I think Webster plays because unfortunately Marsh isn't fit and is carrying too much pork to be an all rounder.

23/24 - 938 runs at 58.62 (Top Run Scorer) and 30 wickets
24/25 - 303 runs at 50.50 and 9 wickets

Jam the now is all that matters theory that floats around here, sustained form is what you want and Webster has been a stand out Shield performer for 4 years now, deserved call up.

It's why I would never pick Renshaw, can't put back to back seasons together.
