I said a few months ago, that our list is far from being set. Before the rebuild is complete we may have to trade a few of the young guys that we brought in.

Everyone is tradeable for the right price

You're tradable …...

From TC not long ago (Poster JK- formerly known as a Josh Kaplan )

Shiel’s preference is Hawks . His father in law a big factor. His management concerned a deal won’t get done between Hawks-GWS, hence no announcement and limbo. GWS want to deal with us. Connors playing it well as can be expected.

I’m still hearing Setterfield flipped to * mid this week

Young Dylan needs to free himself from his potential in-law... 1) they’re not even married yet 2) even if they were, he needs to set boundaries

Fisher was in the same draft as SPS and even though being a later selection, has given more of himself and performed better.

Anyway and in simple terms, I'd be shocked should we be looking at options of moving Fisher on......not so much SPS
I doubt we'll get good value for SPS after the year he had, so unless we are getting a Cerra, McCluggage type player then I think we have to back him in to turn the corner. Maybe this is the rocket he needs.

Also from TC, from Okham's Razor...

We are in this up to our ears & there is plenty to play out.

Blues are way ahead of where the media & other clubs want us to be. The fact we are in play for Shiel et al this late in the stage scares the shit out of plenty of others.

There are statements to be made to the football world. If we secure Shiel, even for overs, we are protecting Cripps and providing insurance for his future at the Blues.

Will be an interesting and perhaps controversial trade period.

Cheers

might be reading into it to much but does that coincide with the sps rumour??

Agreed, 2016 & 2017 drafted mids have gone past SPS (Dow, Fisher, LOB). Maybe it was the second year blues or lack of preseason.

If we can get a top 10 pick for him (we won’t) then I wouldn’t be sad at all. Unfortunately he had a disappointing year and his currency would be lower than people would expect.
