Not sure why bringing bootsma back is such a big secret
Seems our strategy this season is to shake a lot of trees and see if anything shakes loose.
No brainer yes, but at times last year we had Philips, Lobbe and TKD in the 2s.
I don’t think we can go with the same setup
again. Then we have Cas who will be in and out of the VFL next year.
Could Phillips and Cameron trade places ?

Liddle more or less said that in his podcast with Barrett.Seems our strategy this season is to shake a lot of trees and see if anything shakes loose.
Very interesting. Considering you are saying it’s a big move and the team is likely still in finals, I’m predicting it’s an interstate team as big player movement between Melbourne based clubs does not really happen. There is definitely a big move (and plan B big move) being worked on at player management level; given how media/news can derail, partially laid plans, news of this will surface after the season has ended for the club(s) involved. 🗝
Cameron would be a good cheap get that fills a need, allows TDK more time to develop, and fits the desired team profile.
If knowing means that there is a chance of not getting the deal done then we don’t want to know. But if knowing ruined the likelihood?
Reported!I wonder how many first round picks Geelong will Offer for Charlie Curnow?
Yeah maybe, but i dont see Murphy intentionally lifting his arm so that the tacklers arms slide up above the shoulder...You know we have the 3rd best in the league at this, right? M Murphy is behind only Sir Duckwood and Rhys "The Beast who can't find the ball" Mathieson.
A club would have to be off it’s tree to give up a first rounder for Higgins at his age; but then the Cats, in particular Scotty, have had a preference for older players for some time now. If North are able to secure a first for SH age 32 at start of 2020 season, they’re smarter than I thought.

Would have Constable in a heartbeat
Just cheap. Nothing to indicate he's good.
WT actual F?
If North get a first rounder for Higgins....I will eat Stig O'Hara's "Kernahan" hat!
Bingo, Murph is using his small stature to try to slip out of tackles. Selwood and Co duck. Can tell the difference as Selwood and Matheson duck just before contact. Murph shrugs after contact.Murphy is just as much a culprit, but uses it more as a shrugging technique to free himself up, flow on benefit is getting free if he is taken high
Selwood uses it to draw high contact when there is no way out or advancing the ball, Matho and Christensen actually cost their side momentum looking for the contact
