Think it was more directed at the (unnecessary) commotion the media had developed recently.
You obviously havent seen the groundswell of support I had started for the club re-signing Kreuzer on social media :)

Every pic of video that Carlton has posted about Kreuzer over the last couple of weeks has had my comments in there "Re-Sign Kreuzer Now"...

According to the presentation, Trigg announced that Kreuzer is happy with this and should be signing up shortly. He addressed that to all the Carlton supporters who have been making waves about the club re-signing Kreuz :D
I can imagine the phones were running hot today.

Not going to get a lot of game time in that forward line, unless there are injuries. Opportunity to play may be enough to spark interest.
Can't clubs develop their young talent in the twos anymore? I'd be loathe to think that DVR would bail on Carlton in 12 months time just because we haven't played him much yet...

Cant see any of Gunston, Roughead, Rioli, Puopolo retiring or being delisted in the next couple of years, we dont have the same problem.

Pick 56 few years ago Mezzoculo and no debut. Wouldn't cost anything more than a pick upgrade or knives surely. How can they mount a case based purely on VFL form, as good as it may be?

He played as a sub in round 2 and was senior emergency in round 3 (and once in 2014). Hawks VFL side have been a powerhouse over past few years and he has played well in most games. I'm not saying that he'd cost a first rounder but he isn't a Whiley type 'plus one'.

Yeah, he seemed very keen to mention Kreuzer, D-Ram. Combined with the fact that he grabbed at his tie and had sweat running down his face, pretty sure that he woke with a horse's head next to him this morning.

M LO looks like he could organise that kind of thing...

They've got enough players approaching 30 to give him a sniff.
True, only if he is prepared to be patient and risk that new recruits/free agents dont go past him in the pecking order. Happy to speed up the waiting process for him.

Oh, I agree. I think Hawthorn may have other ideas though. Reckon we could still get him - just not on the cheap.

Still cheap but perhaps not a plus one. Think we'll do ok I'm trade week if we can move quickly and smartly.

You're fighting the good fight Dram.
The club would just about have a riot on their hands if they didn't re-sign the big fella.

I hope it is untrue. And nothing against Sicily personally.

The last thing we want are "coach's favourites" coming into the Club. Frequently they do not work (Chris Johnson, Daisy) and they are bound to cause disruption to the list and/or resentment. Finally, their presence suggests undue influence by the coach into the List Management domain and the recruiting domain, both domains being outside, although adjacent to, the coaching domain.
The difference is Daisy cost 600k, Sicily will cost next to nothing.

I think that it's come to the attention of the club just how highly Matthew is thought of at the club by virtually everyone. There are one or two that are still bagging him and saying that the he owes the club for us keeping faith in him and keeping around even though he is injured all the time and they seem to believe this.

Malthouse on Adelaide radio suggesting Neil Craig is very likely to be joining the club .

Massive do not want !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah/nah/maybe. Been rumoured for a while. While he hasn't seen too much success at Melbourne (who has) or Essendon* (who cares), he had a good coaching record at Adelaide and has a very diverse skill set (coaching, fitness-conditioning, administration) and qualifications (MA in Education, Sport Science). Would prefer to see Craig on staff rather than Buttifant.

Hopefully we don't see Craig in the new line-up. Maybe Fagan can be brought across by Bolt's.
Butters can go if deemed time but I'm sure there goes more loot on a curtailed contract.
