From the poster who has made many, many grammatical errors throughout the thread.:confused:

But I wasn't running around trying to prove how intelligent I was. By the way your post is full of grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors. If you are trying to pretend you are some form of language wizard at least get it right.

Namely...

Not really. It more depends on whether you are refering to a place, a 3rd person plural verb or the 3rd person plural possessive; nothing to do with the nominative. You mean the object, or the accusative, not objective (unbiased).

No I mean objective, I suggest you study your English a little further.
possessive their , objective

How is "their" the object?

The accusative (the object) of "their" is "them":
"They": nominative
"Them": accusative
"Their": genitive/possessive.

Touche, but my points (grammatically and Essendon related) are still valid.

Some of your Essendon points are valid. But I still believe they are in turmoil, they have been in the bottom 5, 3 years in a row and have lost one of the greatest footballers of all time who added not only skill but also inspiration. Your younger players still need time to prove whether or not they are up to the challenge.

I was actually about to respond to this as I thought it had some valid points. Such a shame that you spoiled it with your last comment. I suggest that if you want to talk triple chins I would have a look at the profile of a certain boss in a photograph a few pages back. Such a shame you ruined your post with a stupid deflective comment. You just can't leave Collingwood out of your posts when we are talking about the Bombers.

Deflective

I don't think it was merely an opinion. I am left with the impression that you started this thread to falme members of another club.

It would be just as dumb if I had started a thread about Collingwood being in turmoil because they lost another Finals game.

And you would have every right to start that thread if you wanted to. It is simply my opinion. As you can see I didn't troll and post and then run away laughing. I have stuck by my opinion and defended it for nearly 300 posts.

Yes and most of the time you can't fill that stadium, you don't even have the stadium record and it is your home ground. As a matter of fact you don't even have the biggest 3 crowds to play at the stadium, so don't use Telstra as an excuse. Fill that before you worry about the M.C.G

I gave you every opportunity to talk footy, yet you focus on crowd figures and leave more questions unanswered.

Poor form...

Matty Knights, eh?

Essendon will go 10 years without beating North. Bookmark that shit.

What number did you wear for Bendigo?

Number 7. I once saw your new coach crying in the changerooms because someone had stolen his clipboard.

I've never come across such a staunch apologist for his football club than you, but surely you see that dumping Sheedy for Matthew Knights is poorly planned and badly executed nonsense.

We didn't dump Sheedy for Knights.

We "dumped" because he was deemed not to be the right man to lead us for the next five years. His age being a contributing factor.

Knights wasn't in the picture when Sheedy was "dumped"

The ambition was to seek out Mark Williams, however he wasn't available.

A process then took place, using Stride Management and Matthew Knights was deemed the be the best candidate. I take it his development work and the respect the young players have for him went some way to making this decision.

On the back of the same process Sumich and Hardwick have been offered assistant coaching roles.

I would have preferred Hardwick and Knights the other way around. I like Knights' work and what he's done for the club.

But then again, I wasn't privy to the process.

I will start a thread now, titled "Why Collingwood are Underachievers"

Dont see why they would want to work under Knights.
Don't see why our Coaching appointment should affect you in the slightest. You're Collingwood, we're Essendon. We do what we want to do at our Club. Unlike you we aim for on field success and the last 5 years have been unacceptable. Collingwood would happily tolerate it if it meant more off field success.

Actually in every Collingwood vs Essendon head to head facet Collingwood has it over the Bombers.

Collingwood vs Essendon

Head to Head- Collingwood lead 116-96
Most recent Grand Final Victory between clubs- Collingwood by 8 goals
Highest score in a match between both clubs- Collingwood 30-20-200
Greatest Winning Margin in a game between Coll vs Ess- Coll 147 pts
Most Members- Collingwood
Biggest Crowd attendances 2006 and 2007- Collingwood
Most recent Victory- Collingwood

Pretty one sided head to head figures. Yes Bombers fans will raise the 16-14 Premiership tally but unfortunately you can't do it against the Pies. The jealousy stems from the fact that head to head Collingwood have you covered in every aspect of the game

Any stats on the amount of bus drivers needed to man the buses at half time of the 1984 Preliminary final ?
