Liam Jones was a big reason Freo didn’t get a run on, he shut down their half forward line in the 3rd.

Bont & Treloar in some remarkable form.

JUH didn’t get the rewards but he played a great game at CHF tonight.

All round four quarter effort.

Talls clicked up forward, great pressure forward of the ball, played the territory game well.

Delivery into the forward line so much better with lowered eyes not just bombing.

Allowed intercepting by having pressure up the ground which assisted our defence.

Only poor thing was our finishing, especially from set shots.

Best win for the year, should have been by more.

Bont is a god, Treloar would be annoyed - if it wasn’t for Bonti, he’d have the 3 Brownlow votes wrapped up.

Williams excellent, JUH’s marking was fantastic, English continuing his best season so far, Macrae as usual kept getting tons of the ballz

Fremantle were completely unprofessional tonight. I don’t have a problem with disliking Lobb (it’s perfectly understandable) but their focus on him was way over the top and ill disciplined.

Hawks and GWS to come, big chance to be 5-3 and right back amongst it.

There has been a noticeable increase in pressure across the ground in the last few weeks.

As much as it's still a bit of an issue when teams kick consecutive goals. There isn't really the sense that they can't get a handle on it now.

All in all a pretty good effort across the board. The only real concern is when Bont went out of the middle and was replaced by McLean in the centre. Once again this coincided with our opponent getting a little run on. However, as mentioned there was no sense of panic and once the Bont returned normal service was resumed. The Bont is everything and a class above everybody else.

What a fantastic Recruit Liam Jones has been

Amazing what a better workrate and pressure game can do. Looking a lot more confident with our own game. Foot skills were better, decision making, areal contests. We looked great.

Credit to the coaching staff getting them back on track, the season looked gone. Hopefully it continues.

Bont playing a genuine captains knock the last few weeks. Needs kudos for that. Would be balls deep in the Brownlow I reckon.

Is it just me or does Arty look like he’s about to have a break out game? That small fwd workrate was massive tonight. Just couldn’t get on the end of any. Once it clicks, he’ll be a lock as the small fwd in our 22.
