Chalk it up as a loss tbh, that way I can't be disappointed. We're yet to play in QLD this year and this is exactly why we needed to really put teams to the sword when we had the chance (specifically Hawthorn and West Coast) and not completely shit the bed in the losses we did have. Alas, that's Port Adelaide under Ken and I'm foolish for expecting anything different. Bears by 54 (I said the same thing in Round 1 and we ended up winning by that much lel).

There is something about the makeup of this 22 that just scares me. Its got some real plodders in the bottom 3-4 slots and a defence that features no defenders that are strong in their own right.

I reckon Cameron is the one who gets hold of us. Hipwood for some reason does * all except for when he plays us.

Bergman will be on a tall so we are gonna go back to the well on that tactic.
Burton did a fantastic job on Cameron last time we played them. Hopefully Aliir and McKensie being back will mean Bergman can go back on the wing where he belongs.

I’d be happier if it was a day game, I think our chances improve massively over a night game.
Night games bring back bad memories (dogs final) day game good memories (Richmond final).

Looking ahead and based on how it's been most years previously that should mean if we lose we host the Semi on Saturday night and if we win we host the Prelim on the Friday, but knowing the AFL they'll probably find a way to change it.

What rubbish, too 4 should always get the Thursday/Friday slot to ensure the longest break time.

Instead not only is it a night game and can’t return on the day, it’s also the least recovery if we’re headed for a semi. Ridiculous but not unexpected

Honestly, who cares?

If we win the QF and lose the PF they'll be complaining that the break was too long and they lost touch.

There's no Goldilocks days off formula, it's just another excuse. Go out and win and forget about how many days you had off.

I know a lot on here suffer from PTSD and can’t get past the Hinkley effect but heck me the negativity is next level.

There is one team in the 8 with bona fide premiership credentials (Melbourne). The rest it’s all new and everyone (including us) has significant flaws.

Get excited, get positive, we can win this thing!
