Yep and we better be enjoying dessert otherwise Sando and the selection committee are going to have indigestionProof of the pudding will be in the eating.
That last part is the issue isn't it. A fit Callinan fair enough, one who hasn't played for a fair while, not so sure. Then there's the issue if you would have Pets over Stiffy, I wouldn't, especially given Pets also is underdoneCallinan 4 goals last year at the Gabba. Horses for courses. Stiffy has obviously been stamped as a forward only. I actually would pick Callinan over Stiffy in that case. I hope he is fully fit though.
Stiffy was one of the better forwards last week...Good call on Stiffy by the coaching staff imo. He became ineffectual in defense a while back and you could see it was terminal. As a forward he has repeatedly coughed up set shots and not done enough at important stages to justify the spot. His goose is nearly cooked.

Completely unlike Petrenko.
Stiffy was one of the better forwards last week...
Or notin other news, fantastic to see brown still in the team after getting hurt against the dons. i really think he can be a long-term shutdown defender - now we have lost doughty.
in the next couple of weeks, smith comes back for jaensch, shaw for otten, and that backline looks much more solid.
Petrenko did **** all last week, period. We all know why Pets is there and it has nothing to do with his offensive ability.
I'm not so sure about the terminal in defence part - the rest is hard to argue with.
People will probably still find a way to be displeased about it.... This whole thread has basically been about Crouch coming in, and this was the first post praising the decision.Sando says Crouch won't be the sub.
Petrenko did **** all last week, period.
Sando says Martin has gone back to get match fitness given his lack of game time. Well how much game time have Petrenko and Callinan had before their selections?
Yeah, all those on the outer had ripping finals series and sublime seasons last year... some people need to just log out of BF and wait for the game to come, take your frustration out on booze or something.Petrenko and now Callinan.
Feels like Aaron Keating would get more games these days. All you have to do is completely spud it up in a finals series and you're given a gold pass.
Just scroll past the posts, people need to take out their displeasure and anger somehow... And a forum works most of the time.Yeah, all those on the outer had ripping finals series and sublime seasons last year... some people need to just log out of BF and wait for the game to come, take your frustration out on booze or something.
Yep praising a decision that was bloody obvious and should have happened for game 1.People will probably still find a way to be displeased about it.... This whole thread has basically been about Crouch coming in, and this was the first post praising the decision.
Callinan replacing Stiffy is neither here or there, and certainly doesn't deserve barraging of criticisms and gold pass talks, what utter crap.
AFL, please don't schedule a bye after a round 1 Crows game ever again, it seems to cause some supporters to become crazy.
