I still feel a recovering gov played as a forward would be our best forward and the most likely to take a mark. This season is probably a right off let’s hope something gets mixed up and we see gov or Barrass tried forward

That’s a left field assumption given that Shuey is the actual captain and Gov and Nic just acted in his absence

OMG, completely forgot about Shuey - it was about 1:30am and I couldn't sleep - not making excuses though 🙄🙄.
Maybe it also reflects on Shuey, and how he has been missing so much, and irrelevant.

The phrase is “write off”.

But I guess it’s a mute point, they’re the same thing for all intensive purposes.

Well, if we're on the topic of correct english, it's for all intents and purposes.
Intensive purposes is an incorrect slang version of the original.
But lets not split hares, we've got butter fish to fly!

It’s not “mute point” either.

Titus speaking some sense..

Port Adelaide vs. West Coast (AO) 4:35pm Fox Footy

Like the federal election, Port Adelaide’s season can’t end soon enough.

But like Labor, who caught a break with Albo getting covid, meaning he can’t be interviewed for a while, Port gets the Eagles, meaning they’re a possible chance of having their first win.

In fact, with Ollie Wines returning, the Power look set to get a win that will give them a false sense that things are improving.

Perhaps the most damning thing about Port Adelaide’s season is the Eagles have won more games than them.

Yes, a rotating cast of top-ups and fill-ins have a better record than a team that argued it was on the cusp of a premiership.

I can’t tip the Eagles despite this fact; I saw them play the Swans last week and my brain can’t accept the fact that team can win a game.

Why isn’t Wines coming back through the SANFL? Isn’t that what every other team does? Makes their star players play in the reserves?? That’s what I thought was the case. Im quite shocked I tell you!!

I'm not sure that Port are the current shining light of example that you think they are.

I certainly don’t think they are any shining light. I have been led to believe that every club in the competition bar one, brings their players back through the reserves. That illusion has been shattered and I am now most disturbed!!!

🤣

I missed the part where Wines missed half the PS, had COVID (or was in COVID iso), and came back in with 3 other underdone players the same week.

Other than that, fair comparison.
