I missed the part where Wines missed half the PS, had COVID (or was in COVID iso), and came back in with 3 other underdone players the same week.
Other than that, fair comparison.
I don’t recall Kelly or Yeo missing half the pre-season.
Shuey missed two matches.
Wines has been out of action for two weeks.
Wines was hospitalised with a heart issue, so hopefully Port have done their due diligence and he can “run the game out”.
Not comparing, just an example of if your “best” players are deemed fit to play, they play at the top level. We (WCE) are not an outlier in doing this
Is this satire?
"You're not going to get the best of these guys if you bring them straight back"

Sadly in the second half last week the three amigos put in more than any others in the team. the are several levels above most of the team. You bring them back through the WAFL to get fitness. Doesn't matter how well they work together if they're stuffed after the first contest.
Once Sydney took the foot off the pedal of course.Sadly in the second half last week the three amigos put in more than any others in the team. the are several levels above most of the team.
Begrudgingly Simmo is right you dont plough a field with a Ferrari

Regardless, if your three leading possession getters for a game are backmen, then the midfield hasn't done their job.
I agree that the midfield needs to build "synergy" by playing together, but it doesn't mean you throw them all in at once without proving their match fitness first IMO. It's a last ditch effort to save the season, at the cost of the future.
He seems to directly contradict his previous answer when he said the A Graders can't find form in the WAFL and they won't get synergy there.
Wow, big breaking news from The West. NicNat in a knee brace, might not play this week.
“They need to play together to get synergy” … but one guy was on managed minutes and another spent half the game in the backline, having been on managed minutes in the Wafl the week before.
Just beggars belief.
and Miguel Sanchez is joining the sack Simpson brigade.

Completely missed the point.
“Links to our club” should not be a prerequisite.
