1) We are playing a team that we have matched up well against in recent years

2) We are playing a team 5 places below us on the premiership table.

3) We are playing a team that we defeated twice this year, including a win in Perth by 5 goals

3) We have every player available except Talia. They are missing McPharlin (the All Australian full back) and Broughton, an important player in their line-up.

4) They are coming off two 6 day breaks.

5) They have slept in their own beds only three nights in the last seven They were in Melbourne last Friday and Saturday night, arrived back in Perth on Sunday and flew to Adelaide on Wednesday.

6) They have travelled half the way to London in the last week.

7) We last left Adelaide three weeks ago.

If we lose tomorrow night it has nothing to do with the changes made at selection.

I still think the monkey is a long way from being off Freo's back. Maybe if you held that 50 point margin for the rest of the game rather than only winning by 16 it might have been a different story.

Out of curiousity didn't lee spurr play well in a few grand finals in the SANFL?
Yea he was impressive in 2011 and 2010 from memory, Spurr was a good player for us.

From memory had about 12 disposals in the last quarter, including about 3-4 shots on goal that just missed. Was an impressive effort, just lacked the finishing skills on the day.
He was under some immense pressure and our resurgence seem to start from him. Pretty much put the team on his back for about 5 mins until the rest started to help.

Can you tell me roughly the bags he has kicked in finals?

ie. Has he kicked a bag of 4-6 in a SANFL final?
4 in 2010 along with the Jack Oatey Medal, in a game we won by 6 points.

Kicked 4 in 2007 as well (our highest goal kicker with the next on 2)

Dont forget he played mostly as a midfielder resting in the forward lines.

Callinan for mine is arguably one of the better players this season, in games where the conditions have been good , he has always popped up with crucial good and deadly accurate goals.

For mine, the first shot or two at goal, will dictate the evening.

I really believe we will kick 5 in the first qtr this week.
