Its still quite shocking to me though. I mean, how has that not been a Key Performance Indicator for those 3 players, and if it is, how are they seen as even remotely achieving it?

And if that's not a KPI, and goal kicking certainly doesn't seem to be one either, then what the hell is there output measured on?

Thanks for reminding me I should be developing a list of reportable KPI's as a result of a recent audit instead of perusing BF.

I cant recall the last if any game we have won in Tasmania. I think this will go the same way. The team has lost its way.
My mates and I decided to spend a week in Tassie in 2017. The highlight would be the 6-0 Top of the table Crows v the 0-6 Bottom of the table Kangaroos. We were only 10 goals down at the end of the first quarter. Good times 🙄.

MONA was much higher on our list than Blundstone Arena of highlights and we have never been accused of being “Culture Vultures”

Any win will be a good win.

SANFL
F Himmelberg McAsey Nankervis
HF Pedlar Gollant McHenry
C Cook Murphy Sholl
HB Davis Frampton Milera
B Brown Borlase MacPherson
R Strachan Crouch Taylor
I Newchurch Turner Wright Boyle

AFL
F Fogarty Thilthorpe Rachele
HF Keays Walker Rowe
C Soligo Jones Dawson
HB Hamill Murray Hinge
B Laird Butts Doedee
R O'Brien Hately Berry
I Parnell Schoenberg McAdam Smith Worrell
Why Does OBrien automatically start every week?

Just heard Nicksy on Jars, Bernie and Blewy' show. Seemed to namecheck Schoenberg (a lot), Jones and Pedlar in his interview as players who are performing in the 2's.

Fingers crossed that's an indication they are in line for recall.

Nah, it’s his way of proving how awesome our big 3 mids are when kids are performing in the 2s but still can’t crack a spot. That’s how stacked our midfield is.

Is he though?
Kicked 40 goals last year alone, more than double that of Ned McHenry's entire career

Kicked 16 goals this year so far (Rowe, McHenry and Murphy have combined for 17 goals)

Averages 1.5 a game, decent enough.

On Pixel 5 using BigFooty.com mobile app

He did one year (a flag year).

How many are Stengle and Greene averaging? How many did Betts average when in a flying team?

Pickett’s not a prolific goal kicker, he’s only kicked more than 3 goals in a game once in his career

He’s a very, very handy player because of his forward pressure - much like Cyril. Much like all those Richmond mosquito forwards. But he’s not a big goal kicker

He kicked 40 for the dominant, top of the table premiership team in 25 games.

He kicked 7 goals in 14 games in 2020 - he wasn’t retained for his goal kicking

He’s kicked 16.7 in 12 games this year

I’m a fan, but prolific he ain’t

He's a third year player who is equivalent to three of our small "forwards". I said he was a genuine goal kicker which he is, unlike our players that can't even average a goal every two games

He’s not much of a goal kicker, but comparing our useless potatoes to him is like comparing Matthew Nicks to Alastair Clarkson as a coach

Picking a side based on best users of the ball rather than what will actuslly happen

B Parnell Butts Jones
HB Smith Frampton Hinge
C Sholl Hately Dawson
HF Cook Tex Milera
FF Rowe Fog Rachele
RUCK Strachan Berry Soligo

Yeah i know Frampton but its a best users of the ball side imo. I would be far happier seeing that side trott out knowing whilst wemight not win as much ball, when we do win it its likely we ain't just kicking it to the opposition

You lost me at Sholl. Well it was Frampton tbh but had to stop at Sholl.

Think disposal skills - not all round game. The qualifier here is that I have not seen Taylor, Nankervis or some others in the SANFL side who might be better than some in my list, but they are at this stage unproven at AFL level
I think Sholl is on the way out. I wouldn't give him a game in case he gets injured. I think we did the same with Atkins. Better to get games into Cook, the fact he isn't playing doesn't make sense. He is clearly going to be a very good player.
