Since only Doedee, McPherson and Taylor are missing (and they are not going to challenge for a spot in the AFL this year), I guess we know who are selectors rate as our best 22/23.

Apart from injuries, I suspect there will be very few changes to our team over the next 10 games.

It's unfortunate that a win would put Port a game clear on top.

Ironically we need Port to keep winning (except against us, of course). Their last nine games are against 8 of the 9 teams currently 6th to 14th (except the Dogs) and Collingwood.

And for what it is worth, getting within 3 goals of Collingwood will keep us in the 8.

If we win 13 games (with a good percentage), we deserve to make the Eight. If we win 12 games or less we don’t deserve to play in the finals.

I actually thought they might still keep Billy in to stretch us a bit more and play backup ruck so Cox can stay forward and clunk some marks. Risky putting Howe in, but they must be confident he's good to go, but thought they'd give him at least a week in the VFL to get some run into his legs.
