You’re cherry picking that to suit your argument, despite what the rest tells you, seriously?

There's no cherry picking going on. If you are generating the same output from worse efficiency, it means you are by definition having to try/work harder.

No one is questioning Keays' work rate, which is very good

The way you responded made it seem like you were discrediting his output in the forward 50 and saying he isn’t worthy of a spot in a premiership team, but if that’s not the case, then I apologize

Not really, I'm no Bearded Clam

To my eye a player like Keays is less efficient than Bailey, a bit more scrappy, but clearly Keays has excellent work rate. The major criticism of Keays is his bad kicking, and when you look at that stat and see that his overall contribution is still decent, it does sort of confirm what you see in games

Rankine in for Rachele, Sloane in for Jones?

Wouldn't be too popular though to be fair we've made largely good selection calls lately.

It's crunch time now. Will be revealing
I just reckon Nicks loves Pedlar as do the players

I’ve heard he has a real presence around the team , looked at with admiration etc

Prob because he’s so low key and just goes hard but with skill and talent

All I know is that it’s going to be hot in Brisbane on Saturday….let’s hope they keep some juice in the tank for third and fourth quarters

I mean we basically did last week ;)

But at the minimum I absolutely expect one of them to be playing
Yeah becuase we rested pedlar, no idea why we’d bring him back through the 2’s.
Can absolutely accept Rankine not playing though.

If Izak plays then I predict two changes;

Out Jones In Rankine

Out Nankervis In Pedlar

I love the Nank but I suspect it is asking for trouble going in against one of the top teams, who are undefeated at home, with five sub 20 game players in our backline. I think we will move Brodie Smith back into defence and rotate our midfielders through the wing.

We have no quality wingmen available but I can see Sholl returning before Cook gets another game.

Reading between the lines of his presser, Rankine and Pedlar are back this week. Obviously Jones is out, but who is the other?

Horrible conservative changes.

Nank has not looked out of place at all.
Smith has played 2 very good games on the wing.
Your suggestion basically means we’ve lost two wings, added midfielders who don’t have the same skill sets as what we have lost against a team which has been exposed by run in recent games.

Keays couldnt hassle his way out of a wet paper bag..

he’s not a taggers a-hole.. no matter how many times some round here like to claim he is..

what keays does do very effectively is run off his opponent and do everything he can to make them pay the other way.. and his gut running makes it difficult for them to keep up with him.

he’s never blanketed an opponent out of a game resulting in them getting fxxk all touches and having no impact.
Fair enough you watch him more than me. I thought he did quite a good job on Daicos at times in the AO match. Seemed to be right on his tail and stopped him getting low-pressure possessions. But maybe that was selective editing.
Bit of terrorising you reckon?
Haha i was going to write that but thought wrong club! Still one of the funniest things Ken has done. Use the tactic fine, but the pre game chest-thumping iv was a classic
