Making the trip over also. $140 hotel sealed the deal, but geez footy tickets are pricey over there!
I use Ticketek over here - pretty cheap. How much did you pay for the tickets and where are you sitting?

Honeychurch played his role so well last week that his direct opponent got 7 coaches votes. I just don’t get how he keeps getting picked, it’s been bordering on the Cordy debacle.

He tried hard but ultimately wasn’t up to Afl standard is the only logical view the coaches could have of him now.
Who do we bring in to play the same role?

He got the job done as a defensive forward the week before on Harbrow so might be able to nullfy Laird.
I'd be more inclined to get the out of form Dahlhaus to play the same role and bring in a bona fide midfielder (if we had one ready) but it seems our cupboard is bare.

Naughton is injured and Young looks lost despite his excellent VFL form earlier in the year, I suspect we won't be able to resist temptation to rush Morris back in, Wood can come straight back in too after only having a couple of weeks off.
Trengove looks to be an addition too if he's just edged out Roughy which means at least Dunkley can take more midfield rotations so we might be able to drop the Badger and not suffer too much with the legs.

Yes going to Adelaide with misses. Able to get $101 a night deal at the grand chancellor and $44 plus 5.95 for a seat near cheer squad. Only needed a single seat because wife not going to footy. If I wanted 2 seats cost a lot more per seat. I am thinking if Walker, McGovern and Sauce are out we would be a chance with Wood, Morris and Trengove in. We usually play better in Adelaide than Perth (except the 2016 elimination final).

Add to our team
a fit Morris, Adams, Wood, Picken and Clay

We are missing mature l hard bodies

And I’ll be ****** if we aren’t a contender this year
Why would we be a contender? We're a bloody long way off and we've only just scraped over the line against 14th, 17th and 18th over the past 3 weeks. Adding a handful of hard bodies does not make us anywhere near a contender this year.

I’d be shocked if Young kept his place in this team. Still got a fair bit of development to do before his ready for senior footy IMO.

In: Trengrove, Morris, Wood
Out: Honey, Young, Naughton
Looks about right. Now I know that Morris/Wood are likely available I'd go with the changes above.

Just you wait and see!
We will be a contender sooner than you think don't forget we lost to same average teams in 2016 eg Freo\Saints

I've still not got my tickets yet. When I checked last week, the cheapest was $60 that wasn't GA though. I should probably get onto it in the next day or two though. Any suggestions? Been to AO for cricket but this is first time for footy.

Agree but with those ins - would we be afraid of anyone
*why* would we be afraid of anyone ?

Edit: Sorry, maybe just needs a question mark at the end. Just looked wrong.

When did you get the tix through the club? I might do the same.

You can get GA from Ticketek for $35 (adult) or $20 (concession) plus $5.85 per transaction. I think they only check concession ID for the premium seats. Will watch the first quarter or half (if it's not raining) on the hill and then find a seat on the top level.
