Look how Moore got his goals against bulldogs. 2 of them came from White crashing packs or a White contest.. Moore got 6 touches on the weekend because one of the best KPD in the game went to him. Anyone who thinks you can go in with a 4 game KPF and win is moronic. More inside 50's and we got beaten by 38 points.

I keep seeing posts like this. It displays a complete lack of thought in my opinion.
You cant drop witts without bringing in white because we need a backup ruck. Unless we want to throw darcy to the wolves and give him a crack as a 10% ruck.
Carlton have kruezer and wood, so 2 guys who are decent in the hitouts. Cant throw moore in.
So for me, it is really a question of witts v white.
One has to play. Unless darcy rucks

Well IF you going to play White. The Ruck/Forward is the only Postion you could play him in
Its why i think white gets the nod.
White was dropped for poor form, but he actually had a decent game against the dogs. Witts has been poor for a long time now.
One has to play. White just offers more...and grundy plays a lot better as the sole ruck

Agree with all that but Bucks for some reason keeps playing Witts
He wants to develop this into a long term combination. But neither have shown enougj ability as a forward. It just isnt working.
I think witts has struggled in the air following his shoulder surgery, while Grundy still doesnt have the tank and also doesnt take enough contested marks...although he is showing more scope in this area.
Im all for the experiment, but this week i think we need our best side. White is ahead of witts i reckon for what he can offer. And i think grundy is ahead of witts too

Guess that depends on Interchange caps and if that's the case we have no need for Witts and Grundy on the list i cant see both of them being at the club if we ain't playing them both every week next season
I agree with this to be honest.
You cant go wasting a rotation on a ruckmen. If 80 is the cap, all 80 need to be spent on mids.
So your 2nd ruckman needs to have a forward element to his game.
If witts cant develop in this area, i think the lack of sub may work against 2 monster rucks.
I lost faith in the team after the 2011 gf.
