I don't see why not.

Hypothetical the changes are Reid and White in for Witts and Seedsman.

B - Langdon Brown Toovey
HB - Varcoe Frost Williams
C - Crisp Pendlebury Sidebottom
HF - Swan White Fasolo
F - Elliott Reid Moore
R - Grundy Adams Greenwood
INT - DeGoey Scharenberg Dwyer Maynard

I wouldn't call that top heavy, the balance is actually pretty spot on.

However on top of those changes I would also like to see Marsh debut and Blair come back in.

I like this line up, i like tooves but would be good to see marsh get a go in his place

And you forgot to add we gave away the game and any chance of playing finals in 2015.
The dees aren't exactly the dream team either.

On their day the Dees are good enough to flog Geelong so why shouldn't we expect them to be good enough to beat us?

we're too slow with him (Witts) and Grundy.

I just don't get this! How are Witts and Grundy any slower than Kruezer and Wood?

I can understand the argument if you're playing Geelong and they've got Blicavs and Stanley, or a team with 1 genuine ruck and 2nd ruck / 3rd tall type, but not a team with 2x genuine rucks.

The only issue I have with Moore playing in the ruck is the centre square bounces, he would be able to compete around the ground but not sue he is ready for the crash and bash of the centre square.

I think the opposite. He'd be able to compete well in the run and jump centre bounce scenarios, but wouldn't be a match in the wrestle around the ground contest due to his lack of physical development thus far.

Yes it is but we look very slow with 2 Rucks.

Going by the Board our Structure has not been right for the last 3 Games

And thank God the BF board aren't the selection committee!

Everyone is overreacting with respect to Seedsman. Has had a poor last few weeks but so has the whole team. Anyone who thinks he won't be at Collingwood next year needs to chill out a little.

I think he will be at Collingwood next year.

I dont think he will be in the side this week.

We couldn't do any worse than them last week ;)

Actually, we'd still be waiting for the squad to play Melbourne to be finalised...

Reid is a certainty this week, but seriously why is so injury-prone?

In 08-10 he hardly missed a game
In 08 and 09 he played 3 and 2 games respectively :p, it's only been this year and last year that he's had his injury problems in his calf, 2010 to 2013 he played at least 20 games a season

Not that I want to see Moore used in the ruck but if it came to that I'd advocate picking a Crisp or Adams type to 'wrestle' the ruck and have Moore come third man up.

Not this week. This week we belt the scum.
There lies part of the problem this week, a win isn't just a win.

If we win by anything less then about 5 goals it's almost another failure.

Carlton don't want to win, they shouldn't either when a loss here and next week gets them the number 1 pick.

If we can't smash them this week there's something seriously wrong.

Spot on.

Coming off a disappointing game last week you would think the players would come out wanting to prove something.

If we are half serious about this game then we should put them away by 7+ goals at a minimum.

Wouldn't that be a Free Kick against us?
